Long overdue: Lessons learned

• Do not fall for someone you only chat with. Don't fall for words.
• Take note of the red flags and do not be let yourself be blinded by your feelings.
• Physical attraction maybe strong but don't let it cloud your judgement.
• Learn to compartmentalize, just what like guys do.
• Look at how he/she asks about you and not only talk about himself/herself. 
• Know how to control your imagination because the best relationships only exist inside one's head. 
• Look at the person as who he/she is and not as a potential partner. 
• Self-respect is much more admirable. Do not worry if a guy will like you or not because you are embodying your self-respect. 
• A kiss is not to be given away so easily. 
• No matter how many times you analyze what happened, the bottomline is he doesn't like you enough. And that is okay.
• Pain can make you see things you did not take time to appreciate before. 
• Letting go of people is hard, especially those who made a great impact on you. Let go. They will remain in you anyway.
• A beautiful thing that is worth keeping takes time to grow. Do not rush. 
• Always be hopeful. There are better things to come.
